Happy Moon Cake Festival

4.00 a.m (Thursday).

Good morning,

I just had a dinner and a bath. Managed to scramble half of my Critical Thinking Essay tonight. Erm.. oh yeah.. the dinner was for yesterday (Moon Cake Festival) Erm.. approximately 1 hour 30 minutes ago. Ah.. didn't had it on time but.. never mind.

'' 过节?''

'' Had a nice dinner with family! ''

'' Gonna play lanterns tonight! ''

Those were what I saw in Facebook a couple of hours ago but what I did was different.

These were what I'd been doing when friends and families were having their lovely dinner.

'' The rest of the aborigines were brought 800 meters away from their huts and were brutally murdered. Their beheaded bodies were burnt. 2 appealing women were kept alive for prostitution as they were continuously raped by the murderers. Another woman was sliced at her throat and was allowed to run for a short distance before she was burnt alive in a fire together with her infant child. Furthermore, 2 young girls were tortured and mutilated to death (Korff n.d.). ''

Yes. Critical Thinking essay about The Fabrication of Australian History.

Bloody Hell lots of research and readings...

Somehow, I experienced a Moon Cake Festival without my family for the first time. Well, perhaps.. My sister was here with me but my parents weren't. How sad.

Didn't see the moon.

Didn't even see a moon cake.

Didn't even have a proper meal.

What I did was stuffing my stomach with Kit Kats when I'm hungry and the dinner mentioned above was bread with margarine. They were delicious though...
Plus.. facing this crappy screen for hoursss is making me sick...

Kit Kat for breakfast too.. took this picture this morning when I was crossing the road to campus X)

This week is effing hardcore. Rough phrases but they're bloody suitable to describe my week. As usual, we were rained by our lecturers with tests and assignments before this coming term break. It is just 3 days away from it but to get there... is hell lots of challenge.

I had 2 tests today. Maths and Physics.

Guess what? Maths was alright but I screwed my Physics. I only scored 62. What the hell... I'm so disappointed. This broke the kill streaks '9' of my term 3's result. Maintaining '90s' is hard but breaking the chain is as easy as shooting fish in a barrel.

Just now, my sister showed me a video of Chinese New Year. I think it was a video taken by myself during the New Year Eve of 2009. It was a scene of dad setting off firecrackers at my home's front gate while sister and I were witnessing fireworks lighting up the night sky. The surroundings of my home were shown so clearly in that video. Honestly, I sensed a strong feeling of homesick for the first time since I came here. I stopped watching and continued doing my work before the feeling could leave an impact on my performance tonight.

Seeking for heat from my room's heater. Hrm.. I looked like a retard lol. My palms are getting numb. It's a chilling night as usual.

Oh ya.. my mum's birthday is coming real soon. Sis and I were planning to send our blessings back to our parents' birthdays through a single card but... the card was placed on my table for the last few days and it is still empty. I don't have time to sit down and think of what to write in it. I have too much to express about my parents. They're just too awesome.

Anyways, this is life... far away from home and I should feel happy + lucky to experience it.

Anyong hee joo moo se yo...
